Our Qualifications

If you’re reading this, it means you’re wondering what the letters after the names of our team members mean. We generally think it’s a bit naff to list qualifications like that, but the reason we do it is because many managing agents do not have any formal qualifications at all, despite their substantial responsibilities.

We want to show you how well qualified our team really is:

• MA (Cantab) - Master of Arts, from The University of Cambridge

• MA (Oxon) - Master of Arts, from The University of Oxford

• BA (Hons) - Bachelor of Arts honours degreee, from any other university

• ATPI - Associate of The Property Institute, a professional qualification in leasehold management. This is equivalent to an A-Level

• MTPI - Member of of The Property Institute, a professional qualification in leasehold management. This is equivalent to a foundation degree, and is the highest qualification that currently exists for block management

• AssocRICS - Associate of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, a surveying qualification

• MRICS - Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, a higher surveying qualification also known as a ‘chartered surveyor’

• FRSA - Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. The RSA is a ‘global network of change makers’ and our founder, Edward, is a Fellow. This reflects his ongoing commitment to engaging with others and making changes to improve leaseholders’ lives

• IMPC - Interpersonal Mediation Practitioner’s Certificate holder. Sarah, one of our managing agents, has qualified as a professional mediator which can be useful when dealing with any disputes that arise
